SusieSusie McKinzie: I am the marketer for Livens & Reed. My territory is anything east of Tarrant County. I market to all nursing and assisted living facilities from the Sherman-Denison area, through all of Dallas to Waxahachie east to Greenville, Rowlett and Rockwall.

I have been with the firm since 2013. I love my job because it educates people about Medicaid and VA Aid & Attendance. These two things are of great benefit to elderly people. We can help them save their hard-earned money. The other reason I am proud of working for Livens & Reed is they have a sterling reputation. They have never lost a case. That's a huge accomplishment since our firm handles over 400 cases a year!

I retired from AT&T Yellow Pages, owned a magazine publishing company and hated retirement! That's when I called Steve Livens, an old friend, and he gave me one of the best jobs I've ever had. I meet so many nice people who have the same goal as our law firm: to help the elderly. I don't plan to ever retire. They will roll me into the crypt from Livens & Reed law firm!
